Conrad Keely is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of alt rock/ post hardcore band ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. The multi-instrumentalist also plays wurlitzer and fiddle for Austin, Texas country-folk band Brothers and Sisters.
Forming in 1994, Keely fronted ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, with Jason Reece, both switching between singing, playing guitar and drumming, along with bassist Autry Fulbright and drummer and guitarist Jamie Miller. Their debut album came out in 1998, but it wasn’t until 2002 they managed to break into the charts, hitting #73 in the UK. They released their ninth and latest album ‘'IV' in November 2014. He is now striking out on his own with solo material. He released his debut solo album, ‘Original Machines’, in January 2015, and played a short run of UK tour dates in November 2015.
