Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip announce UK tour and forthcoming single release

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip announce that their new single Cauliflower will be released on the 20th September ahead of their biggest UK tour to date which kicks off on the 14th October and runs through to the 1st November.

The single, Cauliflower, which is described as a seductively twisted lullaby includes the Vocals of pop songbird KiD A and promises to be a medley of plucked strings and broken electro beats. The single includes a dance floor re-rub SB mix, an atmospheric Telepathe glitch fest, the filthiest of electro mixes from Does It Offend You, Yeah?, PRDCTV’s haunting dub shuffle and a Balearic prog tinged workout from Mark E.

Earthtone9 announce their first gigs in 8 years

Following re-forming the band this year, Nu-Metal Rockers Earthtone9 have announced two festival sets this year.

After 8 years of inactivity Earthtone9 dust off their instruments and prepare to hit the road with a set at Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth on the 31st July. Playing the Jaegermeister stage at 7.30pm on the Saturday, then in November the group travel to Leeds to play at the Damnation Festival on the 6th November.

3,500 Reading Festival Tickets Set To Be Made Available at 10am Saturday

Reading Festival organisers have announced that 3,500 tickets for next months festival will go onsale tomorrow morning at 10am.

With assistance from the Reading Borough Council, the Reading Festival's capacity has been extended to 82,000 for the 2010 event, along with 5000 guests. The event's capacity is expected to be boosted by a further 3000 spaces in 2011, which is part of a staggered process to extend the capacity of the festival grounds with the local council.

One of the UK's biggest indoor winter music events, The Big Reunion Festival, will return in 2010 for its 10th Birthday and two weekends of music from the UK's brightest new acts. Gorillaz Rearrange UK Tour To Coincide with 'Plastic Beach' World Tour & Tickets

Gorillaz are set to take their Plastic Beach around the world later this year. The band have today confirmed they will play 20 shows in North America (including their first ever show at Madison Square Garden), 10 nights across Europe including 2 nights at London's 02 Arena before heading to Asia and down under for 7 shows.

This is Gorillaz first world tour. The previously announced UK tour will now become part of the "Escape to Plastic Beach" World Tour, with the live shows moving from September into November to include an additional show at the Brighton Centre on November 18th. The Glasgow and Newcastle shows have been cancelled.
