Coldplay Star Planning Classical Music Career

Monday, 01 May 2006 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageColdplay singer Chris Martin says he plans to become a student of Classical Music when he is too old to be a rock star.

The band's enigmatic frontman was speaking at a New York Philharmonic concert featuring music from the films of Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.

"When I'm 40, too old to be a rock star, I plan to go back to college to study classical music," the 29-year-old told the New York Post.

Martin, who is now 29 years old, offered no further details on his classical aspirations though.

So only another 11 years of Coldplay.
