Bryan Ferry Announces Details Of New Studio Album

Legendary performer Bryan Ferry has marked his return with the announcement of an eagerly-awaited brand new studio album, which is set to include some amazing contributions from many of music’s top names.

The new album, entitled ‘Olympia’, is expected to be released later this year on October 25th and sees Ferry reunited with old friends, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Brian Eno for the first time since Roxy Music crafted their top album ‘For Your Pleasure’ in 1973.

The album will be available around one month following the release of first single ‘You Can Dance’ which is set to drop on 9th August. The new ‘Olympia’ album will be the latest offering from Bryan Ferry since his 2007, UK top 5 album ‘Dylanesque’.

The new album will feature some outstanding contributions from some of music’s biggest names. Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour appears on one of the tracks as well as Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead fame. Nile Rogers from Chic and ex-Stone Roses bassist Mani is also appearing on the album as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. New song ‘Heartache By Numbers’ sees the Scissor Sisters contribute and Groove Armada contribute to another track, ‘Shameless’.

Bryan Ferry’s new album ‘Olympia’ is set to be released on October 25th 2010.
