On 28th July Who’s Jack will become the first monthly publication to create a live embodiment of itself with the debut of the monthly event, Jack Comes Alive, at Proud Galleries, Camden. Jack Comes Alive sees the printed page come to life with all artists, musicians, brands and ideas from the past months issue taking shape to grace the cobbles, walls and stables within the iconic venue that is Proud.
The line up for the first installment of these eclectic, energetic events boasts live acts, Will & The People, Thomas Tantrum and Electric Memory Box and DJs, Worship (soon to be releasing their summer single with Grum Music), Young & Lost Club’s Nadia and Sara and the Prism Party girls currently causing an artistic, light installation storm, Shula’s Wigwam.
As if that wasn’t enough each stable is to be transformed with all manner of things lifted straight from the pages of the magazine. Expect everything from pole dancers, art displays, film screenings and cupcakes to a live fashion shoot with PC Williams along with anything else you might spot through the June and July issues.
Who’s Jack is a multimedia platform that encompasses a monthly London centric magazine, both online and in print, a magazine style website that covers fashion, art, film and music and finally Jack TV that shows all that is Jack in video format. The final piece to this multi-platform puzzle is the Jack Comes Alive events connecting the magazine directly with its audience.
Who’s Jack has always offered a unique connection to young and creative cultural influencers in the capital, featuring the best of emerging and established music, fashion, art, film, personalities and products alongside real issues and comment. Always striving to ride the changing tide for today’s mixed media platforms, Who’s Jack is proud to bring you this, the first monthly live magazine.
Who’s Jack founder and editor, Louise Findlay says of the event, “It is hard to keep the attention of an ever changing, ever growing young and hungry readership. We feel that embodying the magazine in an event and placing that event in such an iconic venue as Proud will be the perfect opportunity to keep our ideas fresh and compelling for our audience.”
