Sum 41, The Black Pacific, Riverboat Gamblers And Veara Confirmed For Eastpak Antidote Tour 2010

The Eastpak Antidote Tour is preparing to rock the UK once again this October and November, bringing to the stage a line up of four of today’s top ranking punk rock bands.
Eastpack is one of the world’s most popular street fashion brands, famed for their hardwearing backpacks and luggage, the company now also seems to specialise in organising an innovative music tour. Similar to Sonisphere, the tour roams across Europe playing a variety of countries on its journey.
This year’s tour is set to be exceptionally loud, spearheaded by Canadian punks Sum41 and Jim Lindberg’s newest venture The Black Pacific. The 2010 tour will also feature Texas-based rock and rollers The Riverboat Gamblers and the up-and-coming Veara.
Having to unfortunately cut their current Vans Warped Tour short due to frontman Deryck Whibley’s injury to his back. Headliners Sum 41 will be well rested and ready to rock fresh from the release of their latest album ‘Underclass Hero’. Supporting Sum 41 The Black Pacific will no doubt set some pulses racing with their hard-core punk rocking. Following 20 years with Pennywise, song-writing vocalist Jim Lindberg’s new venture will be sending thier aggression and energy in an all-new direction.
Also on the bill, no strangers to punk-rock, The Riverboat Gamblers will be giving fans an audio assault in the form of material from their latest studio album ‘Underneath the Owl’. As well as opening band Veara who will lead the day with their catchy rock-pop tracks from first full length album ‘What We Left Behind’.
Playing a total of six dates in the UK, The Eastpak Antidote Tour will start off in Norwich on October 27th and then visit, Southampton, London, Manchester and Birmingham before concluding in Bristol on Wednesday November 3rd.
