Saint Etienne, chroniclers of London life and titans of 90s electropop, are to play three shows in December under the banner Thank Christ It's Christmas.
Since last year's London Conversations compilation won five star reviews across the board, their catalogue has been re-issued in deluxe editions to great acclaim: expect to hear highlights from 1991's 'Foxbase Alpha' to 2005's Tales From Turnpike House' (which is due for a bonus-heavy re-package in October).
Dotted amongst the hits - 'He's On The Phone', 'Who Do You Think You Are', 'Sylvie' - the much loved trio will throw in some suitably festive numbers, including their own addition to the canon 'I Was Born On Christmas Day'. It wouldn't feel like Christmas without Sarah 'Crackers' Cracknell and the boys - thank Christ Saint Etienne are back!
