Only Men Aloud Announce Second Birmingham Show For Christmas Tour & Tickets

After two acclaimed sell out tours in 2009, Only Men Aloud are back with a very special Christmas themed tour and have just announced due to popular demand a second Birmingham show on Monday 20th December. The show will be a selection of festive Christmas repertoire, plus a mixture of songs from both of their albums and a few firm favourites.
Only Men Aloud rose to fame in 2008 after entering what was to be the UK’s biggest choir competition to date, with choirs battling to become voted the best choir in the UK on BBC One’s hit Saturday night show Last Choir Standing. In October that year Only Men Aloud signed a five album, multi-million pound record deal and went on to release their top-twenty debut album, which achieved gold status within the first week of sale. The choir have gone on to sell over a quarter million albums within the UK.
Last year was a fantastic year for Only Men Aloud who completed two successful trips to the United States, played a critically acclaimed sell out tour of the UK and recorded their second album 'Band Of Brothers' in Cardiff with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. It seems that their success has continued into 2010 having now notched up a third acclaimed trip to the USA as well as winning a Classical BRIT Award for 'Album of The Year'.
Speaking about the forthcoming Christmas tour, Only Men Aloud founder Tim Rhys-Evans revealed his excitement for another trip across the country. “I can't quite believe that in less than 2 years, we're going on our third UK National tour. For all of us in OMA, nothing matches the thrill of being out on the road, performing live and meeting all our fabulous loyal supporters. Our Christmas tour last year was such great fun and we can't wait to get back out there doing what we love to do the most!"
