Legendary guitarist Peter Frampton has announced a string of dates for some rare performances in the UK next spring.
Regarded as one of the most respected guitar players ever, Peter Framton has always churned out challenging, critically-acclaimed albums. Starting out with British bands The Herd and Humble Pie in 1969, it didn’t take Frampton long to establish himself as a world-class guitar god before going solo in 1971.
Achieving commercial success in 1976, the astonishing success of 'Frampton Comes Alive!' resulted in the live album becoming the biggest selling of all time. Commercial success struck big in 1976 when his immortal Frampton Comes Alive! quickly became the biggest selling album of all time'. The album scaled the US chart and also reached Number Six in the UK album chart having sold over 16 million copies.
Now, 35 years on, Peter Frampton will be heading to the UK next year in support of his new studio album 'Thank You Mr Churchill', which was released back in April. The new four-date tour will get underway in Glasgow on March 2nd and will then stop in Manchester and London before closing in Bristol on March 6th.
