Justin Townes Earle Suspends UK Tour To Enter Rehab

Justin Townes Earle, one of Americana's most exciting songwriters, has decided to suspend his autumn tour dates and enter a rehabilitation facility.

The son of legendary troubadour Steve Earle, Justin was voted the Best New & Emerging Artist at last year's Americana Music Awards and stands at the forefront of this rich vein of new, young Americana musicians filtering into the UK from the States.

Announcing the tour suspension earlier today, Earle is strongly committed to confronting his on-going struggle with addiction and thanks his family, friends and fans for their continued support through this difficult time.

Earle looks forward to resuming the tour in support of his critically acclaimed third album, 'Harlem River Blues', which was released earlier this week on September 20th.

Justin Townes Earle has suspended the following UK and Ireland dates of his 'Harlem River Blues Tour':

November 2010

1st The Maze, Nottingham
2nd St Bonaventure's Bristol
3rd Komedia, Brighton
6th The Stanley Theatre, Liverpool
7th Union Chapel, London
8th The Polish Club, Sheffield
10th The Cluny, Newcastle
11th The Pleasance, Edinburgh
12th The Errigle Inn, Belfast
14th Whelans, Dublin
