Paul Smith has added two new live dates to his sold out tour in November and December. Southampton and Oxford will now kick off the tour on 23rd and 24th November, respectively. Tickets are on sale now.
Smith and his band will make their first live appearance in London at a free in-store at Rough Trade East on Thursday 14th October, the week his debut solo album 'Margins' is released.
'Margins' is Paul Smith from Maximo Park’s debut solo album, a collection of self-penned songs recorded with friend and co-producer Andy Hodson at Hodson’s home in Newcastle. Debut single 'Our Lady of Lourdes' is released on 1st November on 7” vinyl and download with b-side 'Loop for Becca'.
In additon to the album 'Thinking In Pictures' 's a book of photography, a collection of seventy-four Polaroid images hand-picked by Smith from thousands he has taken over the last five years while on tour with Maximo Park. The book comes with a copy of Margins' slotted in the back. It will be available exclusively through Amazon and the first 1000 copies will come with a signed bookmark. The book will also be for sale at Smith’s live shows.
