Mike Posner Announces UK Show For March 2011 & Tickets

Fresh from causing waves with his already Top 10 monster hit single ‘Cooler Than Me’, pop newcomer Mike Posner is set to release his debut album ‘31 Minutes To Takeoff’ on February 28th and has announced a one-off special UK show at Shoreditch’s XOYO on March 10th.
Working with the likes of Labrinth, Benny Blanco, Greg Kurstin and Boyz II Men, Mike fuses electro pop, rock, hip-hop, soul and R&B to create a genre bending blend of mainstream music that it’s cool to like.
Debut single ‘Cooler Than Me’ – a hot pop ode to a former crush - has proved to be a worldwide smash hit having dominated the charts worldwide for months and has to date had 2 million paid downloads.
Mike says: “I’m just making pop music that’s not corny, pop music that you don’t have to call a guilty pleasure, music you don’t have to be embarrassed about. I go everywhere pop artists go but without losing my credibility.”
Having started his career around 2 years ago by making mixtapes in his college dorm, Mike has since achieved cult status across the States and this adoration is quickly spreading across the world.
