The mighty Foo Fighters have revealed details of two massive UK shows for 2011. Announcing they will play two huge outdoor gigs at Milton Keynes Bowl next July, the band also let slip that support on the shows will come from Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro and American indie-rockers Jimmy Eat World and Death Cab For Cutie.
It has been a while since the foos have graced UK stages. Having overcome his recent drug battle with (ahem) Caffeine, drummer, guitarist and "nicest man in rock" Dave Grohl has been busy with his monster side-project supergroup Them Crooked Vulutres, whilst Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkings has been enjoying the success of his own group The Coattail Riders.
Having started work on what will be the band's seventh studio album earlier this year, Foo Fighters claim that the new album will be their heaviest material to date. The new offering is yet to receive a title although rumours have been circulating that the album could be called 'Miss The Misery', 'Rosemary', 'These Days', 'Walk', 'A Matter Of Time' or 'Bridge Burning'.
Marking their return to the UK next year with two massive open air shows. The concerts are set to take place in July so could this be part of a 2011 UK festival jaunt for the band? Check back to Stereoboard for more details as they are announced.
