Iron & Wine Announce UK Shows For Spring 2011 & Tickets

Iron & Wine have announced dates for a short string of UK shows, set to take place in March 2011.
Centred around Californian musician and songwriter Sam Beam, Iron & Wine, not content with just announcing a new album to their fans, have announced a run of UK shows to support their new album 'Kiss Each Other Clean'. Set for a release sometime in January, the new album will be Iron & Wine's first studio album since 2007's 'The Shepherd's Dog'.
After a period of silence, Iron & Wine returned to form earlier this year with a stunning performance at this summer's End Of The Road Festival, where the band delivered a set mainly consisting of tracks resurected from their back catalogue. Hinting at the festival that new material could be released soon, Sam Beam later confirmed a new album was on the way by revealing to Spin that the new material carried a more 'pop' edge and the upcoming album was set to hit the shops in early 2011.
Iron & Wine will hit the road next March for a run of nine dates across England , Ireland and Scotland getting the tour underway at London's historic Roundhouse venue on March 8th. The tour will visit venues in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin and Liverpool before closing in Leeds on March 17th. Full details of the tour are listed below.
