Kings of Leon continue their reign at the top of the UK album chart with latest release ‘Come Around Sundown’.
The American rockers held firm at the top of the chart, as new releases including Joe McElderry's ‘Wide Awake’, Michael Bublé's ‘Crazy Love’, and The Wanted's self-titled album failed to outperform them.
Taylor Swift’s second studio release also failed to dent the Tennessee band’s position on the top spot, as she entered the chart at Number Six. Fortunately for the singer/songwriter it was not the same story on the other side of the Atlantic, as she earned one of the biggest first-week album sales of the decade.
Two other albums also debuted in the top ten: Barbra Streisand entered at Number Eight with The Ultimate Collection and The Soldiers, a group of British Army personnel, came in at Number Ten with Letters Home.
