Kings of heavy metal Iron Maiden have fueled speculation that they are about to announce some new tour dates by posting a new message on their official website simply stating, 'TUESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER - 6pm GMT'.
The message accompanies a picture of Earth being held in the hand of band mascot Eddie and strengthens the rumours that the band are to confirm some World Tour dates.
The speculation follows the release of Iron Maiden's fifteenth studio album 'The Final Frontier' which has sold more than 800,000 copies since its release earlier this year in mid-August. During their 30-year career, the metal legends have to date sold roughly 85 million records.
Speaking to The New York Times, Iron Maiden's longtime manager Rod Smallwood had this to say. "A lot of bands could learn a lot from Maiden. Maiden is essentially about the relationship with the fans, and nothing comes between that. They don't want to be rock stars. They just enjoy playing for the fans."
The Iron Maiden official announcement will be made on the band's official website later today (November 2nd) at 6.00pm GMT. Check back to Stereoboard.com for the news as soon as it breaks!
