Texan instrumental band Explosions In The Sky are to return to the UK next year, their first run of blighty gigs for over two years.
Making their long-awaited UK return ahead of the release of their new album, Explosions In The Sky are aptly named for their LOUD performances.
Crafting spectacular mini-symphonies the band are currently putting the finishing touches to their fifth studio album after spending most of the year in the studio. Due for release in Spring next year, the new album will be the follow-up to Explosions In The Sky's 2007 album 'All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone'.
Explosions In The Sky will hit UK soil in May next year with two shows confirmed for Manchester and London. Their Manchester show will see the band tread the stage boards at the Academy venue (Manchester University) with the London show taking place at Camden's historical Roundhouse. Full details of the two shows are listed below.
Explosions In The Sky will play the following UK shows:
Tue 17 May - Academy (Manchester University), Manchester
Thu 19 May - Roundhouse, London
