Napoleon IIIrd Announces UK Tour With iLiKETRAiNS & Tickets

Napoleon IIIrd (aka James Mabbett) is touring the UK with iLiKETRAiNS this February, on the back of a year that saw his second album 'Christiania' critically lauded in the mainstream music media.

The Napoleon IIIrd live show has grown to match his ambitious new sound. Having called it a day on the solo performance, Mabbett has assembled an indie-all-star band that includes, at various times, members of Sky Larkin, Internet Forever, Keyboard Choir, Stairs To Korea, DREAMTRAK and AK/DK. The band's captivating debut took place in front of a packed-out Club NME at KOKO in Camden, with live brass, duelling drummers and an inspired ensemble vocal performance fronted by Napoleon IIIrd's distinctive throaty roar.

This is a show not to be missed. The tour represents a chance to see "one of the most inventive solo artists in the world today" (Drowned In Sound) stretching himself to create a live experience that captures the ambition of his studio work.

The dates are as follows:

February 2011

02 Brighton The Hope
03 Bath Moles
05 Norwich Arts Centre
06 Oxford Jericho
07 Nottingham Bodega
09 Sheffield Fusion
10 Liverpool Shipping Forecast
11 York The Duchess
