Mona Set For UK Return With March Headline Shows & Tickets

Following the success of a string of UK shows in December, Stereoboard's top tip for 2011 Mona are returning to the UK this March for another series of headline shows.
The hotly-tipped Nashville rock act will play a number of dates starting at Stoke-on-Trent's Sugarmill on the 7th March and visitng venues in Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds and Oxford.
On returning to the UK last December, lead singer Nick Brown said, "We had a ball on our first trip to London. The response was inspiring and humbling. In December we were looking to spread our seed a little further by venturing outside of London for a few gigs.” In March Mona will play another string of shows outside of London.
Mona who have recently signed to Island Records, with all future releases being made available through the bands own imprint ZionNoiz in the UK and Mercury in the US, are now paving the way for what promises to be a thunderous debut album set for release sometime this year.

7th March 2011 Stoke-on-Trent - Sugarmill
8th March 2011 Liverpool - O2 Academy 2
9th March 2011 Glasgow - King Tuts *
11th March 2011 Leeds - Cockpit
12th March 2011 Oxford - O2 Academy 2
Glasgow date rescheduled from December 9 at Captain's Rest. All tickets remain valid.
Mona will also be supporting The Walkmen this January across the UK, on the following dates:

21st January 2011 Bristol - Trinity
