Little Comets today make their debut album 'In Search Of Elusive Little Comets' available to stream via their Facebook profile www.facebook.com/littlecomets. Fans who 'Like' the page get to stream the album a whole 2 weeks before its release!
The intriguingly titled ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ comes stockpiled with the authentic lovelorn paeans, awash with majestic pop hooks and the now familiar lyrical imagination from the brothers Cole.
Preceding the album release comes new single ‘Joanna’, which is released today. You can check out the video for the new single below.
‘Joanna’ is probably the one song that encapsulates everything Little Comets are about, they have a distinct knack of creating slightly off-kilter classic singles – see ‘Adultery’ or the debut ‘One Night In October’ – ‘Joanna’ has been a mainstay and indeed a highlight of the live set for some time.
‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ gives rise to the wonder of the band’s musical artistry and whilst ebbing and flowing over the course of eleven tracks, the outcome is a complete album - one that flows from start to finish, rather than just a collection of tracks.
Self produced and mixed by Rich Costey (MGMT / Glasvegas et al) ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ is witness to a band who have grown with the songs, played them live and now made that hitherto elusive debut album.
