Bruno Mars is currently giving No.1 a whole new meaning - his debut album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ has taken the UK by storm and gone straight to the No. 1 spot, selling over 86,000 in its first week, and for a second week running ‘Grenade’ remains at the top of the single charts with sales now totalling over 260,000. As well as this Bruno is topping the iTunes charts with both album and single and he is No. 1 in the Official Airplay Chart!
“In 2010, Bruno co-wrote four number one singles and this year he’s already achieved the rare feat of a number one album and number one single during the same week, which shows what an extraordinary talent he is. Doo-Wops & Hooligans is packed with brilliant pop songs, and is set to make Bruno a superstar.” – Max Lousada, Chairman, Atlantic Records UK
