Scottish rockers Glasvegas have returned to the limelight with the video for their latest single, ‘Euphoria, Take My Hand’. The track is the first to be taken from their upcoming second LP, entitled ‘Euphoric /// Heartbreak \\\’
The track, which is the first official release since the departure of drummer Caroline McKay, is a typically atmospheric experiment in melancholy, mixing soaring guitar lines with a pounding drum beat to great effect. The song was made available for digital download on 7th February and will be released physically on 28th March.
The band recently previewed the track during a number of small Scottish dates, the first live shows where newly-recruited drummer Joanna Lofgren performed with the band. ‘Euphoric /// Heartbreak \\\’, the follow-up to their Mercury-nominated eponymous debut album, is currently scheduled for UK release on April 4th.
