New York’s coolest indie outfit The Strokes have unveiled the video for their latest single, ‘Under Cover Of Darkness’.
The video depicts the band in impressive surroundings, performing the song wearing suits inside a grand theatre. The video, directed by Warren Fu (of Star Wars and Mark Ronson’s ‘Bang Bang Bang' fame) culminates with the band performing the song on stage with the help of a conductor.
You can view the video for ‘Under Cover Of Darkness’ here:
The track is the lead single from The Strokes new album, ‘Angles’. The album is the greatly-anticipated follow-up to The band’s 2006 release 'First Impressions Of Earth'. As well as the lead single, the band have also revealed another track from the LP this week. ‘You’re So Right’ is a relentlessly dark number full of six-string atmospherics courtesy of a certain Mr. Hammond, Jr.

‘Angles’ is set for release on March 21st in the UK and March 22nd in the US. The band have asserted that they will be touring both the UK and US to promote the album, but are yet to confirm dates. Stereoboard will have the latest updates and ticket information as soon as it happens.
