Pink Floyd Set To Reunite?

Pink Floyd could be lined up for a reunion in the near future after comments made by former drummer for the band Nick Mason. In a recent interview with the BBC, Mason refused to rule out the possibility of a reunion, saying that he “lives in hope” of a time when the band will perform together again.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, he said: "No one has said we will never work (together) again. I think it is very unlikely we are going to go out on tour however I live in hope we would absolutely do another Live 8 or play together for the right reasons.”

The band were recently rumoured to be considering reuniting for a special one-off charity performance, but declined the offer which would have taken place in the home of retired Pakistani cricketer, Imran Khan. In July 2010 Roger Waters and David Gilmour performed together for a small audience at a Kiddington Hall charity event for Hoping For Palestine.

Roger Waters has had a busy year, touring extensively with ‘The Wall’ world tour. The frontman embarked on the another leg of the tour last night(March 21st) in Lisbon.
