Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth (Talking Heads) fronting their side project Tom Tom Club have announced UK shows for July.
A mixture of rap, hip-hop and funk hit the world by storm in 1981 with 'Wordy Rappinghood'. It hit No 1 in 17 countries. With Chris on drums and Tina on bass, they are joined by Charles Pettigrew (formerly of Charles and Eddie), longtime Club keyboard player Bruce Martin and new guitarist Robby Aceto.
Tom Tom Club kick-off their run of UK shows in Cardiff on July 14th before visiting London for a three-night residency at the Jazz Cafe and a show at Glasgow's O2 ABC on July 20th.
