Godspeed You! Black Emperor Announce July UK Shows & Tickets

Canadian outfit Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced UK support dates for their support slot at the ATP I'll Be Your Mirror Festival, headlined by Portishead, in London this July.
The Montreal band, whose cerebral post-rock doesn't so much form songs as create an all-engulfing mood that threatens to hold unsuspecting audiences hostage are perhaps best known for their lengthy instrumental songs and large membership. With nine semi-permanent members, they create prolonged tracks which utilise short movements, wide volume changes, and numerous recorded and sampled sounds.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor will play a total of four UK shows this summer. Full details are listed below.
Fri July 22nd - Glasgow Barrowland
Sat July 23rd - Norwich UEA
Sun July 24th - London Alexandra Palace (ATP I'll Be Your Mirror Festival)
Mon July 25th - Leeds Metropolitan University
