Jason Derulo Reveals Details Of New Single 'Don't Wanna Go Home'

Multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter Jason Derulo returns with his first single since establishing himself as a pop sensation with over 13 million sales of his hits ‘In My Head’, ‘Ridin’ Solo’, ‘Whatcha Say’ and ‘What If’. Derulo will release ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ on June 20th which he co-wrote with producers The Fliptones. The track is the first single to be taken from his eagerly awaited second album ‘Future History’, set for release in September.
“In the midst of all the turmoil in the world, I wanted to create a song that made you forget your problems,” he said of the single. “So escape home, forget reality and live it up!”

Jason Derulo made his UK live debut when he played a small run of shows last August including a headline show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and two V Festival shows. He returned for a full sold-out tour this February which culminated in a triumphant HMV Hammersmith Apollo date. The ninth most played artist on UK radio in 2010, Jason Derulo received a total of over 100,000 plays of ‘In My Head’, ‘Ridin’ Solo’ and ‘Whatcha Say’.
In the States, Derulo became the first male solo artist to score consecutive #1 hits on the Billboard Pop Songs airplay chart with his first two releases. His YouTube channel has received 330 million streams, in the process achieving a spot in YouTube’s 100 all time most viewed channels list.
