Prince Confirmed As Third Headliner For Hop Farm Festival 2011

Pop icon Prince has been announced as the third headliner at this year's Hop Farm Festival.
After being tipped to headline this year's Glastonbury Festival, Prince's performance at Hop Farm Festival will mark the first time the singer has performed in the UK since his record-breaking 21-night stint at the O2 Arena in 2007. Prince is set to bring the weekend bash to a close headlining Sunday night of the festival, July 3rd, the show will be the singer's only UK performance of 2011.
Prince's UK visit will be part of a short run of concerts around Europe this summer. Speaking about the booking, festival orgaiser Vince Power said. "I am really excited about having Prince at the Hop Farm, we have worked hard to get the third day up and running and we hope fans will appreciate the integrity of the bill."
Hop Farm Festival, which prides itself on a "no sponsorship, no branding" ethos, boasts a stunning line-up this year with bands including Iggy and the Stooges, The Eagles, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed, Brandon Flowers, Patti Smith and many more.
