Blink 182 Album Almost Finished

Blink 182 have finally pushed closer to a release of their brand new album, after Mark Hoppus revealed he had just listened to the first track from the new LP.

In a post on the singer's blog, Hoppus said he was "stoked beyond words to be listening to new music from our band". This comes months after Blink 182 were forced to cancel a UK arena tour as they required more time to work on their album.

"1230 at night here in Los Angeles. Sitting on the floor of my hotel room, listening to the first mix of the first track to come back from the new album."

The American pop-punk trio were hoping to play a range of festival slots as well as tour the arenas of the UK, but spent longer than expected writing their latest LP, which will be their first release since their reunion in 2009.

But with album finally looking approaching a release, a new single is expected this month and rescheduled UK shows are confirmed with tickets on sale again now. The band has also announced that they have decided on a title for the new album, but have declined to reveal the title just yet. The dates are below for Blink’s UK shows are below.
