Nominations for the Music Producers Guild 2012 Awards are now officially open and anyone who would like to nominate can do so by visiting www.mpgawards.co.uk
The Music Producers Guild Awards 2012 will be held next February at the Cafe de Paris, London, and once again the winner of the Producer of the Year category will automatically win a BRIT Award for Best Producer.
With new categories in our International Section (International Engineer and International Re-mixer of the Year), the 2012 Awards offer even more opportunities to win. There are now 17 Awards available but before any awards can be presented, those who hope to win need to be nominated.
The Music Producers Guild is encouraging all those who wish to be considered to get on line at www.mpgawards.co.uk and put their name forward. Nominating a worthwhile recording professional involves filling in a very simple online form. Everyone can be part of this process as the nominations are open to anyone. There is also no bar on nominating yourself and the Music Producers Guild is actively encouraging producers and engineers to do this.
