26 year-old rapper and grime artist Wretch 32 has been confirmed as the support act for singer and rapper Example’s up and coming UK tour.
Wretch 32 has already worked with Example before, having released a single featuring him earlier this year, reaching #2 in the UK charts. Now, you’ll be able to see both of them in the same venue on the same date as Wretch is lined-up to warm up the crowd for Example’s spring 2012 UK tour, which will see the pair hit up gigs in London, Manchester, Nottingham, Bournemouth and Aberdeen.
Wretch 32 had an incredible start to the year. After being earmarked by BBC as a one to watch for their Sound of 2011 list, along with being hotly tipped by NME, MTV and HMV as a rising music star he has gone on to achieve a top 5 debut smash with his first commercial single release, ‘Traktor’, and has already completed one tour with Example. Two singles later, his success is still rising as he went from #5 with ‘Traktor’, to #2 with ‘Unorthodox’ (ft. Example), to a #1 with ‘Don’t Go’.
So if you want to catch a musician truly on the rise alongside an already established star, catch Wretch 32 supporting Example next spring – ticket information can be found below.
