London-based electro-rock duo The Big Pink have confirmed details of their next single ‘Stay Gold’, which is due for release on 7th November. The track is the first to be taken from their new album ‘Future This’, the follow-up to their 2009 debut ‘A Brief History of Love’. See below to watch the video for the new track.
The video for ‘Stay Gold’ was directed by Ollie Murray, who recently made his directorial debut on ‘Still Life’ by The Horrors. The Big Pink’s new album ‘Future This’ is expected to be released early next year. The Big Pink will be supporting Friendly Fires at their Brixton O2 Academy show on 24th November and are expected to announce more dates in the next few weeks.
The Big Pink were formed in 2007 by Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell. The duo won the Philip Hall Radar Award for best new act at the 2009 NME Shockwave Awards and released ‘A Brief History of Love’ later that year. Also in 2009, the band had a minor hit with the single ‘Dominoes’.
The forthcoming date with Friendly Fires follows previous support slots with the likes of Muse and TV On The Radio.
