American country singer and songwriter Don Williams has announced a UK tour for April and May 2012.
Known as country music's "Gentle Giant" due to his straight-forward yet smooth bass-baritone voice, soft tones and an imposing build, Don Williams began his solo career in 1971 singing popular ballads. He has achieved over 17 Number One hits and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
A singer of American classics, Williams will entertain audiences with his warm, hickory baritone vocals when he visits the UK in April and May next year for a ten-date UK tour. Kicking-off the jaunt in Bristol on 25th April, Don Williams will stop at venues in Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Ipswich, London, Bournemouth and Southend.
May 1st – Symphony Hall, Birmingham
May 2nd – Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
May 3rd – Regent Theatre, Ipswich
May 4th – HMV Apollo, Hammersmith
May 5th – International Centre, Bournemouth
May 6th – Cliffs Pavilion, Southend
