Garage-rockers Band of Skulls are to follow-up there show at London's Heaven later this month, with a full UK tour in February and March 2012.
Initially known as Fleeing New York, the band changed their name to Band of Skulls in 2008. Formed by three college friends: Russell Marsden, Emma Richardson and Matt Hayward the band quickly became a garage rock sensation and their 2009 track 'I Know What I Am', taken from their début album 'Baby Darling Doll Face Honey', was selected as iTunes' Single of the Week.
Band of Skulls have recently been busy recording their second studio album at Rockfield studios in Wales. The album is produced by Ian Davenport who also produced their successful debut album. The release is planned for early 2012, possibly to coincide with the new tour.
