London indie-pop quintet Fanfarlo have released a video for their new single ‘Deconstruction’. The track is due out on Monday 17th October and is the first to be taken from their forthcoming second album, which is expected sometime early next year. The band have also revealed a date at London’s Cargo venue on Monday 21st November. See below for tickets and to watch the new ‘Deconstruction’ video.
Fanfarlo were formed in 2006 by the band’s Swedish frontman Simon Balthazar. Their debut album ‘Reservoir’, which was released in 2009, was produced by Peter Katis, who has previously worked on albums by Interpol and The National. The new single ‘Deconstruction’ was produced by Ben Allen at Bryn Derwyn studios in North Wales.
Last month, Fanfarlo announced that they had finished recording their as-yet-untitled second album and released a video to the track ‘Replicate’. The album is due for release sometime in early 2012 – an official release date is expected to be announced soon. The band are about to embark on a tour of the US, which will be followed by a short tour of Europe including a date in London on Monday 21st November.
