American controversial hip-hop group Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) have announced three new UK shows for Spring 2012.
OFWGKTA is an alternative hip-hop collective, featuring a range of rappers, producers and DJs who work together as a team, in smaller groups or individually to release tracks on their own label Odd Future Records.
The collective recently found themselves in trouble with the law after member ‘Left Brain’, a.k.a Vyron Turner, was charged with the assault of a female photographer. Turner, one of the group’s main producers, allegedly hit freelance photographer Amy Harris at New Orlean’s Voodoo Experience festival on October 30th. Harris had originally decided not to press charges – but changed her mind after Odd Future suggested she wasn’t to be trusted and the reason she talked about the ordeal was simply for fame and fortune.
The Los Angeles based rap collective have only played a handful of shows across the pond here in Britain & Ireland, but have revealed they will return in Spring 2012 to play London's Brixton O2 Academy, Manchester's Academy and Glasgow's O2 ABC.
