Artists Shouldn't Do More Than One Encore States Florence Welch

Florence and the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch has stated that an encore is “perfectly acceptable”, and said her band is very much the type to play an encore. But, in her eyes, two is just far too much.
The band recently put out their second studio album ‘Ceremonials’, and have been making quite the number of encores while playing out the new record live. But, when asked about encoring, Welch was very adamant in her thoughts that one really was enough.
“I don't think you should do two,” Welch told the Sydney Morning Herald. “One is OK, but two, no way. I think I wouldn't do an encore if it wasn't your own show. I think an encore is perfectly acceptable, but I find it so weird when people do two or three.
“I quite like the drama of an encore. I think an encore is for those artists who are inclined to do dramatic gestures, and I certainly would say I am inclined towards them.”
The band will release ‘No Light, No Light’, the third single to be taken from the new album, in the coming future.
