Radiohead Announced As Bilbao BBK Festival Headliner

English alternative rockers Radiohead have been announced as the first headline act for next year’s Bilbao BBK Festival, it has been revealed.
The appearance is set to be the band’s only Spanish performance of the year and is also the first of three headline announcements to be made, with the remaining two coming in the near future.
The festival takes place from June 12-14th, and is one of the most picturesque and scenic festival sites on the circuit, with the stage on top of a mountain which overlooks the city of Bilbao.
Three-day Early Bird tickets will go on-sale from tomorrow at a price of £72, which includes camping. You can buy these until January 24th, when regular ticket sales will start.
Festival organisers are excited at the booking and have been getting fans ready to rock already through their website, writing (in Google translated English): “Radiohead may be the band that all the specialising critics back up worldwide in the last two decades. In Britain, there albums were a reference for the incoming of a whole generation of musicians. Not only jazz and rhythm & blues musicians, but also electronic and hip hop music artists.”
Radiohead are lining up a world tour in celebration of their latest album 'The King of Limbs', which came out earlier this year. They've announced their US dates, as well as their European dates, so we're currently waiting for the announcement of UK dates from the band.
