American DJ Shoots Clubber Dead Over Track Request

As a DJ, there’s nothing more irritating or awkward than when someone asks you to play a song of their choice – especially when that song is one of their own. But while simply saying no/ignoring the request will usually suffice, or even if an argument was to break out, shooting the person who asked five times seems a lliiitttlle bit too far.
But that’s exactly what an American DJ reportedly did in Atlanta, after one persistent raver would not stop requesting his own tracks to be played. The raver in question, Mark Williams, then decided that he had to fight for the rights of the rest of the club - who clearly really wanted to listen to his music - and decided to brawl with DJ, who is suitably known as DJ Outlaw.
Outlaw, a.k.a Johnny Jackson III, was seemingly livid with the man, so when he saw him in the parking lot after the show, he decided that Williams deserved to be shot. Five times. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Jackson tried to claim that the murder was in self-defence, saying that the DJ “was walking to his car when he saw Williams approaching with a gun in his hand and acted in self-defence.”
But, one witness (who probably won’t ever, ever, EVER request a song in her life from now on, ever) told the courts that she saw Jackson “fire a couple of times and then stand over the victim and fire more.”
