Californian rap collective Odd Future have given fans the first previews of their forthcoming new television show ‘Loiter Squad’, which is made as part of comedy television company Adult Swim, which also boasts such shows as ‘Robot Chicken’ and ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’.
Two short clips of Tyler and co.’s new show have surfaced online; the first featuring two characters in court fighting against each other using ‘hashtag’ before they speak (a parody of social networking site Twitter), while the second sees four of the group expressing their love for cheese in a particularly weird fashion. You can check both previews out below.
The new series will reportedly premier in the states on March 25th on Adult Swim’s cable channel, while it’ll be available for UK users some time after that – though you’ll have to watch online, as Adult Swim don’t have a dedicated channel over here.
Other skits reported to feature on the show are clips of the guys playing pranks on one another (as well as unsuspecting people), more random sketches and man-on-the-street style spoofs, while they will also perform some of their tracks. Episodes of the show will last around 15 minutes and have been co-produced by Dickhouse Entertainment – a company run by Jackass star Johnny Knoxville as well as directors and producers Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze.
You can catch Odd Future on their up and coming UK tour this March and April. If you’re in need of tickets, check the dates and details below.
