Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga is apparently extremely upset after finding out that there were plans to make a biopic about her life – as the details of her ‘story’ will make people see her as weak and insecure rather than a strong woman.
A report in Life & Style magazine says that there are plans to make the film, which will apparently be titled ‘Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story’, that will detail Gaga’s upbringing and her rise to fame, which is a story that barely any will have truly heard or read before. But, Gaga is apparently livid at the idea – and has been ‘cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television’.
A source, who said that Gaga is totally against the film going into production, has told NME: “She's furious, she's cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television. Gaga doesn't want it getting out because it will portray her as insecure and needy. [She] wants to be seen as powerful and strong.”
The rights for the film were originally acquired by Lifetime, a US television network, but are being ‘offered elsewhere’. The film was also said to be written by Norman Snider, who most recently wrote ‘Casino Jack’, which starred Kevin Spacey.< br />Lady Gaga is currently preparing herself for her forthcoming Born This Way Ball world tour, for which she’s already announced Australian, New Zealand, and Asian dates.
