Indie rock three-piece The Subways have announced that the third single to be taken from their 2011 album ‘Money & Celebrity’ will be ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, which will get a release on May 7th.
The track is already receiving a fantastic fan reaction both online and at shows and is set to feature as the third single to be taken from their third studio album. Singer Billy Lunn allegedly penned the track around a ‘fiery relationship’ and the ‘ongoing battle between 2 lovers’ – an idea which created a fast pace and infectious chorus which is sure to create a dancefloor crush at clubs. The single will accompany a UK tour finishing with a headline performance at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.
‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ was produced by Stephen Street and mixed by Adrian Bushby, whilst the video for the track was directed by Blake Claridge and shot in London. You can check it out embedded below.
The track will be available via download and on Limited Edition Coloured 7" Vinyl, featuring an Adrian Bushby Remix of the A-side, and a live acoustic version of ‘We Don’t Need Money to Have a Good Time’, recorded on Carnaby Street for Off Guard Gigs.
