Marilyn Manson Drops 'No Reflection' Ahead Of New Album Release - Listen Now

Industrial metal-head Marilyn Manson has released his new single ‘No Reflection’ this week, as he continues to upend the mainstream with every new release.

Californian rock radio station KROQ debuted ‘No Reflection’ last week and the brand new single is now available exclusively through iTunes right now. Blabbermouth have already praised the track, reporting that the song’s chugging, faint-friendly distortion offers plenty of sonic waves for Manson to glide over – adding that it was reminiscent of glory-era Ministry.

Manson himself had a few words to say about the track too, revealing: “The new record put simply has the ambition and determination of how I started making music in the first place. It sounds like the first record in that it's not afraid to do anything. I had to remove myself from my lifestyle and start fresh.

“It doesn't really sound like any of my old records. In fact it sort of sounds like what I listened to before I made records — Killing Joke, Joy Division, Revolting Cocks, Bauhaus, Birthday Party…It's very rhythm-driven. I think this will probably be the grandest concept record of all.”

‘Born Villain’ will be released on Cooking Vinyl and Manson's own label Hell, Etc, on April 30th. Manson has had astounding success across the globe including three albums being certified platinum and three more certified gold in the USA, in addition to three top ten albums and two #1 albums (‘Mechanical Animals’ and ‘The Golden Age of Grotesque’).
