Brighton-based metalcore outfit Architects have parted ways with their guitarist Tom Hillier-Brook.
The band made the announcement via Facebook yesterday and have since been joined temporarily by friend and guitarist Josh Middleton, who also plays in the band Sylosis. The band, of whom Hillier-Brook was a founding member, have reassured fans that none of their shows will be affected by the move.
An official statement from the band reads: “Tim has decided that its time for him to step away from Architects and pursue other projects. We all appreciate the work and commitment he has shown to the band over the past few years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. His final show will be Groezrock and no future shows will be affected by his departure. Our good friend Josh Middleton will be filling Tim’s vacancy on a temporary basis.”
The band will be performing in Stoke tonight, and at the Slam Dunk festival in Leeds on May 26th – if you need any tickets for the shows, check the link below.
