Aiden Grimshaw, the X Factor finalist of the seventh series in 2010 who proved popular with both the judges and the public, has announced a run of live shows for September and October.
The tour will be Grimshaw’s full first excursion around the UK following his appearance on X-Factor following a cancellation of his 2011 UK tour, and will see him performing in venues like Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms, Oxford’s O2 Academy 2, and Bournemouth’s Old Fire Station. Tickets are onsale on Friday 15th June at 9am – check the dates and details below for more info.
Despite being eliminated from X Factor's seventh series duriing the sixth week of the “talent” competition, Aiden Grimshow still proved to be hugely popular amongst fans of the show. Since leaving the programme he has played a handful of concerts around the country, including a home-coming gig in the familiar surroundings of The Syndicate in Blackpool, but has yet to complete a full tour of the UK following his unfortunate cancellations last year.
Following the run of successful gigs, Aiden scored a record deal with X-Factor mogul Simon Cowell and has now almost finished work on his debut album ‘Misty Eye’, which is set to hit shelves on August 20th later this year – meaning his tour will be packed full of new material.
