There’s little dispute that the Pet Shop Boys belong to a very special order of pop stars. Influential, ground breaking and in turn, constantly attuned to nascent underground trends, they are one of the few pop acts to achieve a longevity through constant experimentation, adaptation and unexpected collaboration.
Their recent performance at the Olympics closing ceremony was met with much acclaim. That and the fact they can write blinding pop songs like 'It’s a Sin', 'West End Girls', 'Being Boring', 'Left To My Own Devices'... The list goes on.
Tomorrow, September 5th at 9.00pm CET (8.00pm GMT) Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will perform for the first time a selection of songs from their already acclaimed new album ‘Elysium’. Head over to www.muzu.tv who will be live streaming the performance from the Hebbel am Ufer (Hau 1) theatre in Berlin.
