Well, well. This girl's really on the up and up! Moya is gaining some real momentum at the moment, and her latest single is only going to push her further. She's already a youtube hit, and Perez Hilton has declared her 'the female Bruno Mars."
Unlike the rest of her gentle, piano-led album 'Lost and Found', 'Making Me Fall' is a polished, bright, commercial slab of pop glory. It's catchy as hell, it makes you want to dance, it belongs on the radio. I'm tempted to compare Moya to Taylor Swift, but this song is girlish and romantic without being vacuous, and her voice is far superior to Swift's. Moya's voice is her instrument, and she really knows what she's doing with it.
This single proves that Moya can lend her hand to different types of songwriting without losing that touch of innocence, the romance of her other work. The lively, uptempo nature of this song shows that Moya can be soft like feathers, or streamlined and soaring like a bird.
And that's what she's doing, guys. Soaring like a bird.
