The Nolans Postpone Spring 2013 Farewell Tour After Resurgence Of Bernadette's Breast Cancer

English-Irish girlgroup The Nolans have been forced to postpone their 2013 UK farewell tour this week, following the unfortunate resurgence of Bernie’s breast cancer.
The super-selling group of pop-singing sisters were set to hit the road again for one last time next spring, in a tour that was inspired by Bernie - or Bernadette - Nolan’s diagnosis and recovery from breast cancer.
But, the tour has now been postponed after Bernie was sadly diagnosed again with the potentially killer illness this month, leading to her and her bandmates cancelling their February and March UK tour.
It’s unknown whether the dates will ever be rescheduled, either, as the severity of something like cancer is paramount in importance over a UK tour. Stay with Stereoboard for future updates on the band and their tour.
The news of the postponement was broken via their website, while Sky News has reported that the cancer is ‘incurable’.
Bernadette herself has told The Daily Mirror :”I refuse to sit around like I've got a death sentence. I'll fight this forever - it can get stuffed. OK, it's not curable. But the doctors have promised me the cancer is treatable, it's containable.
“I'm on medication which is controlling it, and people have lived for 12 years on these drugs. Who knows what new treatments are around the corner?”
