Following three exclusive performances of their legendary debut material over the Halloween period, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster have today confirmed a new show at London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire for Friday 12th April 2013.
The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster split in November 2010 after what seemed to be an onslaught of challenges in the form of illness, personnel upheaval and general malcontent.
Rising from the ashes of the aftermath, complete with returning original members Marc Norris and Andy Huxley, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster re-released their single 'Chicken' earlier this year, spurred on by the huge attention the song received from a NIKE Football TV advertisement.
The band had this to say about the new London date: "After standing on stage together again, selling out this tour and receiving such an incredible response from you all, it's become clear we're now hitting our stride. This month The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster has taken on a life of its own, and musically we have unfinished business together. So we're going to record some new songs to set alight to the the next UK show, which will be 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire on Friday 12th April. The story continues."
