A Fine Frenzy Unveils Her Brand New 'Now Is The Start' Video

Californian singer songwriter Alison Sudol - or, as she was better known, A Fine Frenzy - has announced that she will release her third studio album ‘Pines’ on January 28th next year - as well as unveiling brand new music video ‘Now is the Start’.
Released back in October over in the US, the album forms part of a larger body of work called ‘Pines’, which is a fable written by Alison about a pining tree who is given the chance to make a life of her own choosing. Having drawn inspiration from the Redwood forests and the dramatic landscapes of Northern California and Washington's Cascade Mountains, Sudol has written thirteen beautiful songs as a soundtrack to the tale.
There will also be a companion book and short film to fully bring the project to life. The animated film ‘Pines’ (produced by TakePart, the digital division and Social Action network of Participant Media) integrates hand-cut sets, puppets, stop motion, physical effects, and layered glass to augment the depth and texture of the film.
